Nearly 200 Nike factories in Vietnam resume production

Nike’s Chief Sustainability Officer Noel Kinder said that nearly 200 factories of Nike in localities across Vietnam have all returned to production after a period of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The information was announced by Noel Kinder at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the sidelines of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland on November 2 (local time).

On behalf of Nike, Inc., Noel Kinder thanked the Vietnamese government, ministries, sectors and localities for their timely support in accordance with the pandemic prevention and control situation and socio-economic recovery.

The corporation pledged to continue investing in and expanding production in Vietnam.
