The Dien Bien Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched a new art show entitled ‘Legends of Uva’ in response to Vietnam Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024 and the Ban (Bauhinia) Flower Festival.

The show will be arranged at 6 PM on March 13, 14, 15 and 17 in Uva Village, Noong Luong Commune, Dien Bien District, featuring a stage designed with the typical natural landscapes of Dien Bien Province.

The 40-minute programme will introduce the audience to historical legends as well as the traditional culture of the Thai ethnic group.

It will gather the participation of local people and artisans in Noong Luong Commune, as well as professional dancers and stage artists.

According to the organisers, the performing stage will be supported with lighting and sound effects to increase the audience’s experience.

The ‘Legends of Uva’ art show is expected to become an attractive tourist product of Dien Bien Province, promoting the local land, people and culture to visitors at home and abroad.
