Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Truong Son, President of the Viet Nam Advertising Association and co-chair of the organising committee, said that the Viet Nam Creative Advertising Awards (Van Xuan Awards) 2025 continued to spread the message of creativity closely linked with national identity, social responsibility, and innovative thinking, thereby contributing to shaping the image, capacity, and aspiration of Viet Nam’s creative industries in the nation’s new era of rising.

Van Xuan Awards 2025 attracted more than 1,500 entries, bringing together nearly 400 brands and more than 200 creative experts, affirming the growing appeal of the awards within the communications and marketing community.

With 63 outstanding creative ideas honoured, the Viet Nam Creative Advertising Awards 2025 painted a vivid picture of the domestic advertising industry, demonstrating strong emotional connection with the public, clear strategic thinking, and keen responsiveness to global trends.

At the ceremony, the Grand Prix — the highest category of the Van Xuan Awards — was presented to the “80th Anniversary Campaign of the Viet Nam People’s Public Security Force” by the Department of Political Affairs (Ministry of Public Security) and Zeit Media. The campaign left a strong impression with its outstanding creative concept, high aesthetic value, clear communications effectiveness, and positive social impact, reflecting the pioneering spirit of Vietnamese advertising in a new era.

In the Van Xuan Stars category, the organising committee honoured outstanding young talents and students who demonstrated creativity, breakthrough thinking and the capacity to lead a new generation of creatives, while expressing a deep appreciation of Vietnamese cultural identity. The honoured projects included: “A Communications Campaign and Illustration Exhibition on Intangible Cultural Heritage” by Hoa Sen University; “Traditional Tuong beyond the Museum, Traditional Tuong through Cinema” by the Foreign Trade University’s branch in Ho Chi Minh City and the International University – Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; and “KitKat I Break The Expected – Breaking the Mould, Living the New Vietnamese Way” by the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City.

Notably, the exhibition marking 95 years of “The Party Flag Lighting the Way” by Nhan Dan Newspaper won the Inspirational Event of the Year category. This was a distinctive highlight within the series of activities commemorating the nation’s historic milestones, where history was retold through the language of technology and emotion.

With a modern approach, the exhibition connected the past and present through a multisensory space, evoking pride, gratitude, and confidence in the country’s development path under the glorious flag of the Party.

A new feature of this year’s awards system was the Inspirational Brand and Leader category, which honoured four individuals for their long-standing and consistent contributions to brand building and to raising professional standards in Viet Nam’s advertising industry. The honourees were Mai Kieu Lien (Vinamilk), Ly Ngoc Minh (Minh Long 1 Ceramics), Co Gia Tho (Thien Long), and Cao Thi Ngoc Dung (PNJ).

The awards also recognised many outstanding creative ideas in communications and marketing associated with social responsibility and sustainable development.
