Party’s Communication and Education Commission works with major political press agencies

On June 15, the Secretary of the PCC and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia worked with leaders of the main political press agencies, reviewing several highlights in propaganda work from the beginning of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam to now; directing and orienting the focus of propaganda work in the coming time.

The meeting was attended by members of the Party Central Committee (PCC): Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Central Party Office; Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association; representatives and leaders of several departments, ministries, branches, Vietnam Journalists Association and 12 major political press agencies.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasised, from the beginning of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam to now, the work of propaganda on political tasks, and important events and issues of the country, was actively and systematically implemented by newspapers and radio stations, especially the main political press agencies, which created highlights that strongly spread, contributing to the orientation of public opinion.

The Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education asked the main political press agencies to continue to closely follow the political tasks and the actual situation of the country.

On the 98th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Nguyen Trong Nghia sent his best wishes to the leaders of the press agencies.
