Of the total area, the tomb complex and temples dedicated to the Tran kings in Long Hung Commune cover 118.47ha, while the Lo Giang Royal Residence complex in Hong Minh Commune occupies 76.54ha.
The tomb complex and temples dedicated to the Tran kings will incorporate several functional zones: the core relic area and tomb area governed by strict protection; an area for facilities directly the protection and promotion of the relic’s values; and an expanded area to be added to the relic’s buffer zone.
The Lo Giang Royal Residence complex will include an archaeological area governed by strict protection and facilities directly serving the protection, conservation, and promotion of the relic’s values, as well as an expanded area to be integrated into its buffer zone.
The plan aims to support further research and identification, while supplementing and clarifying the historical, cultural, architectural and artistic values of the special national relic site comprising the tomb complex and temples dedicated to the kings of the Tran Dynasty, together with related archaeological sites and areas in Long Hung and Hong Minh Communes, Hung Yen Province.
It also seeks to preserve, restore, renovate, and rehabilitate the relic complex in the ancestral land of Long Hung in a manner commensurate with the role of the Tran Dynasty in the nation’s historical development.
The plan will be implemented from 2026 to 2035, with a vision to 2050.
