Quang Nam, Da Nang, Thua Thien-Hue promote investment and tourism in Sydney

Three central Vietnamese localities, namely Quang Nam, Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue, introduced their investment and tourism opportunities at a conference held in Sydney, Australia, on September 13.

The event was attended by Consul General of Vietnam in Sydney Nguyen Dang Thang and Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney Robert Kok, along with more than 50 representatives from airlines, investors, tourism associations, businesses, and press agencies in Sydney.

It also gathered the participation of 27 travel agents and tourist businesses from Quang Nam, Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue.

As part of the conference, the tourism sectors of three central localities of Da Nang, Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue signed a memorandum of understanding with the Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce to enhance cooperation in tourism promotion activities.

Previously, the Vietnamese delegation had a working session with the Western Sydney Airport to discuss the launch of a direct air route between Da Nang and Sydney in the coming time, which will pave the way for further tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Australia.
