Six caves in Quang Tri selected as must-visit destinations on Viet Nam’s itinerary

Six caves in Quang Tri Province have been selected as must-visit destinations on Viet Nam’s itinerary by world-renowned travel magazine Travel and Leisure, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The magazine highlights that Viet Nam’s caves offer a thrilling experience for adventure lovers, with activities such as trekking, boat tours, and river crossings.

Among these, six prominent caves located in Quang Tri province are recommended for international travellers to include in their Viet Nam’s itinerary.

Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave features a wooden staircase system that helps visitors easily discover stunning limestone formations. Va Cave is known for its emerald-colour water and unique cone-shaped stalactites.

Son Doong Cave is the largest natural cave in the world where visitors can camp overnight and join boat tours on the Khe Ry and Rao Thuong rivers.

The Tu Lan cave system is famous for its pristine underground rivers and limestone landscapes.

En Cave, the third largest cave globally which its own forest inside, is a popular camping spot. Phong Nha Cave allows visitors to take boat trips on an underground river and explore unique rock formations within the cave.

These caves have attracted large numbers of both domestic and international tourists every year.
