A diversity of experiences
With the summer holidays for schoolchildren just days away in many parts of the country, this is considered a golden period for the tourism industry to surge during the first half of the year. To welcome the expected surge in visitors, travel companies have launched a wide range of promotional campaigns offering attractive incentives for both domestic and outbound tours.
With hundreds of tours offering endless travel experiences from Asia to Europe, TSTtourist is rolling out promotional programmes from April to July 2025, offering discounts of up to 900,000 VND per person for groups of 10 or more, along with over 1,800 attractive gifts for early registrants.
During the "golden week" from June 1 to 28, travellers can enjoy up to 30% off for the fifth group member when booking tours to northern Viet Nam. There are also vouchers worth up to 3 million VND for those registering and paying early for tours to China and Hong Kong (China). Further discounts of up to 5 million VND apply for early group bookings made between July 1 and 25.
Vietravel has launched its summer 2025 promotion campaign under the message "Green experiences — Quality summer vibes". According to a Vietravel representative, the campaign will run from May until the end of July 2025, offering a variety of incentives, including cashback and group discounts. Notably, the company is offering tour packages at accessible price points to ensure wide appeal.
With the theme “Group up – Liven up summer”, Vietravel is applying discounts of up to 1.2 million VND per person for groups of three or more registering for domestic or international tours throughout the campaign.
In June 2025, Vietravel will also introduce a range of family-focused tours with flexible schedules, child-friendly activities and customised menus. Additionally, a special "Journey of Gratitude" programme is being launched for veterans and public security officers as a tribute to their sacrifices for peace.
Targeting high-end customers, Flamingo Redtours is launching a new series of tours to leading entertainment parks across Asia. A major highlight of these packages is its carefully designed schedule that allows guests unlimited access to recreational activities.
For those seeking luxury experiences, Flamingo Redtours has developed the "Elite Class" product line, tailored to affluent travellers seeking world-class service and experiences.
Nguyen Cong Hoan, General Director of Flamingo Redtours, emphasised the company’s commitment to customising its travel products according to the personal preferences and needs of each client. This reflects its customer-centric philosophy, with the goal of returning tourism to its core value where emotion and experience are prioritised.
This summer, Trang An Travel is offering discounts of up to 4 million VND for long-haul tours, including packages to Europe (Western, Eastern, Northern, Southern Europe, and Italy with direct Vietnam Airlines flights from July 2025), the US, Russia, Egypt, South Africa, and Morocco. Competitive pricing is also available for tours to China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), Thailand–Singapore, and Thailand–Malaysia.
Nguyen Huu Cuong, General Director of Trang An Travel, stressed the importance of timely and suitable promotions by both airlines and ground service providers in stimulating travel demand, particularly ahead of the peak summer season.
“Launching promotional packages, offering discounts, or bundling full-service tours at reasonable prices will attract a wider range of tourists. These targeted stimulus policies not only boost both domestic and international arrivals but also contribute to the tourism sector’s sustainable recovery and growth after challenging years,” said Nguyen Huu Cuong.
Localities take proactive steps
In anticipation of the peak domestic travel season, provinces and cities nationwide have prepared cultural and artistic events, large-scale festivals, and entertainment programmes to attract and retain visitors.

Efforts to ensure safety, security, environmental sanitation, price control, and service quality are also being prioritised. Many localities have established rapid response teams to support tourists and are increasing inspections at key tourist sites, beaches, hotels, and restaurants.
In Da Nang, the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) promises to attract large crowds. The festival will run every Saturday from May 31 to July 12 under the theme “Da Nang – The New Rising Era”. Featuring six fireworks competition nights, this year’s DIFF will be the longest in the event’s history.
Alongside the fireworks shows on the Han River, Da Nang will also host a series of side events such as a street carnival, a seaside food space, an electronic music festival, a light art exhibition, and community activities at APEC Park, My Khe Beach, and the Son Tra Peninsula.
The city is also promoting evening tours, Han River cruises, and firework-viewing tours by boat, offering tourists fresh and distinctive experiences. Travel agencies, hotels and restaurants are also rolling out attractive combo deals and discounts to lure visitors to Da Nang this summer.
In Khanh Hoa, the province is preparing to introduce domestic and international travellers to its unique “land of agarwood and bird’s nests” culture through the 2025 Sea Tourism and Cultural Festival themed “Nha Trang Say Hi”. Scheduled for mid-June, the event will feature a vibrant cultural-entertainment space blending traditional and modern elements. Key highlights include a floral parade, street festivals, international cultural exchange events, a carnival, and the symbolic release of aquatic species.
According to Nguyen Van Nhuan, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 2025 Sea Tourism and Cultural Festival will energise the coastal city throughout June, offering rich experiences for both tourists and locals alike.
With strong recovery momentum, proactive engagement from localities, and the dedicated support of businesses in developing new products and diversifying services, summer 2025 is expected to deliver a major boost to the tourism sector, thus stimulating consumption, driving green economic recovery, and elevating Viet Nam’s image as a global destination.
