The awards ceremony is expected to be held to celebrate International Children's Day (June 1), in Hanoi.
The awards include one grand prize called Hiep Si De Men (Cricket Knight) and five others called Khat Vong De Men (Cricket Desire).
This year's award attracted 121 works and a series of works composed, completed or published between January 1, 2022, and April 20, 2023. These are works submitted by authors to the competition or nominated by publishers across the country and members of the Preliminary Committee.
The top 10 best works to enter the final round, included seven long stories and series of stories, one picture book, one poetry book and one bunch of pictures.
The De Men Award is an annual art award launched by The Thao & Van Hoa (Sports & Culture) Daily in 2020, to honour the best works by and for children.
