Vietnam International Travel Mart 2022 opens in Hanoi

The 2022 Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM), themed “New Normal – New Opportunities”, officially opened in Hanoi on March 31.

The event has drawn the participation of more than 500 enterprises from 52 provinces and cities nationwide and six overseas countries and territories including Japan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan (China) and Turkey.

The fair features around 320 pavilions and is expected to welcome 2,500 businesses.

A strong recovery

Following two years of COVID-19 hiatus, the VITM is officially back and considered an opening event for the new period of Vietnamese tourism sector towards a strong recovery.

After the opening ceremony, trade and tourism promotion activities took place at the fair. Tourism and aviation businesses will offer over 10,000 stimulus tours, 100,000 cheap air tickets and more than 1,000 gifts.

The fair will last until April 3.
