Vice President presents gifts to poor households and students in Yen Bai

Speaking at a working session with the authorities of Van Chan district, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan highly lauded the important achievements gained by the local Party Committee, authorities and people over recent years.

She called for more efforts to mobilise available resources to boost socio-economic development and improve the living conditions of local people, particularly among ethnic minority groups.

Further attention must be paid to maintaining the existing harmony between economic development and social security, unlocking potential, boosting digital transformation, and upgrading the information infrastructure, she added.

On the occasion, the Vice President handed over 20 social houses worth 1 billion VND in total to poor families in Van Chan district, presented 20 gifts to local outstanding students, and delivered gifts to 50 disadvantaged households in Suoi Bu commune.
