Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presents gifts to policy beneficiary families in Quang Ninh Province

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Quang Ninh Province on the afternoon of September 8.

During the visit with wounded soldier Doan Giang Hao’s family in Group 6, Zone 2A, Ha Long Ward, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed deep gratitude for his contributions and sacrifices as well as the generations of predecessors who devoted themselves to the cause of national liberation. Upholding the tradition of Uncle Ho’s soldiers after leaving the army, veterans have continued to set shining examples in labour, production, and building their homeland.

The Vice President emphasised that the work done by invalids and wounded soldiers has truly become an inspiration for today’s young generation, helping them to appreciate the value of peace and labour. She expressed her hope that the family of wounded soldier Doan Giang Hao would uphold the revolutionary tradition and continue to actively participate in local activities. In doing so, together with the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Quang Ninh Province, Ha Long Ward would achieve even stronger development.

Visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thuc in Group 12, Zone 7, Cao Xanh Ward, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan conveyed profound gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of wounded soldiers, and expressed appreciation for the immense contributions and sacrifices of generations of predecessors for the independence and freedom of the nation and the happiness of the people.

The Vice President stressed that caring for policy beneficiary families and people with meritorious service to the revolution is the responsibility of the Party, the state, and the whole society. It is also a command from the heart, reflecting the Vietnamese nation’s age-old moral tradition of “when drinking of water, remember its source” and “repaying gratitude.”

The Vice President requested that party committees, authorities at all levels, agencies, and organisations in Quang Ninh Province continue to promote the gained achievements in socio-economic development, while paying due attention to caring for policy beneficiary families and people with meritorious service to the revolution, especially regarding health, livelihood, education, and job for the children of policy beneficiary families, thereby ensuring sustainable social security.
