The project aims to develop a modern, synchronised network of national research centres and key laboratories that are interconnected and share resources nationwide, with a focus on core technologies and strategic technology products.
It seeks to gradually build national capabilities in research, testing, measurement, and certification, while strengthening the country’s technological self-reliance.
By 2030, the project aims to upgrade, establish, and bring into operation at least eight national key laboratories and at least four national research and testing centres.
It also aims to enable the country to master at least 10 core technologies that directly support the development of strategic technology products and address major national challenges.
The project also sets out key tasks and solutions, including reforming investment and financial mechanisms; improving governance, operational management, and shared use of facilities; developing high-quality human resources; and expanding international cooperation.
