Vietnam eases restrictions on liquids for domestic flights

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has removed restrictions relating to liquids permitted in carry-on luggage for domestic flights.

Vietnam eases restrictions on liquids for domestic flights

Under the National Civil Aviation Security Programme 2016, which took effect on May 1, there is now no limit to the amount of liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs) to be carried on flights within Vietnam.

For international flights, each LAG container must not exceed 100 millilitres and the total volume of all containers must be 1 litre or less. They also must be sealed completely.

Under the new rules, passengers on domestic flights are permitted to keep LAGs of over 100 millilitres in their carry-on luggage without having to pack them in checked-on baggage.
