According to the plan, the Vietnam futsal team will practice at the District 8 Futsal Club Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City until October 25, then head to Thailand to train before the 2024 Southeast Asian Futsal Championship.

In Thailand, the Vietnam futsal team is expected to have 2 friendly matches against Hongyen Thakam Club (Thailand) — the team that defeated Thai Son Nam 5-1 in the semi-finals. The 2023 ASEAN Futsal Club Championship will be held on October 27 and will meet the Australian team on October 29.

The 2024 ASEAN Futsal Championship will take place from November 2 to November 10 in Thailand, with the participation of 9 teams divided into two groups. Of which, Group A has 5 teams, namely Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, and Timor Leste, while Group B has the participation of Indonesia, Myanmar, Australia, and Cambodia.
