The artistic photographs feature the emotions, feelings and sentiments of each artist for Vietnam and RoK.
Artist Lee Sang Bok (currently working at a Korean International School in Hanoi) is a teacher, and is deeply devoted to photography. He has fallen in love with the beautiful scenery in Vietnam. Through his photos, he captured meaningful moments in the numerous places he has visited. His works relate stories to visitors on his feelings and experiences in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Vietnamese artist Vu Bach Lien is a young graphic artist with ambitions to explore language, techniques and materials from monoprint, etched concave, stone and aluminum lithography to digital photography. Her works reflect meditation on RoK’s inner feelings and culture through images of the people and places.
The beautiful journeys captured via the photographic art of the two artists showcase the theme of ‘Love’ in harmony.
The exhibition is considered as a meaningful bridge to connect the two countries.
According to Park Nark Jong, Director of the RoK Cultural Centre in Hanoi expressed his hope that Vietnamese and Korean visitors will feel the artists’ sentiment through their works, while depicting the landscape, culture and people of their homeland.
The exhibition runs from October 15 to 26.
