The six-day event attracted over 50 booths showcasing fashion products, accessories, jewellery, cosmetics and kitchen appliances by Vietnamese and Thai businesses.

A seminar on business and investment opportunities for Thai enterprises in Da Nang was held the same day to attract more foreign direct investment to Da Nang.

Signature Thai dishes and arts performances will be introduced at the event.

Visitors to the fair will also have a chance to join a lucky draw; the two first prize winners will be awarded a five-day, four-night tour of Bangkok and Pattaya.

According to Thai Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City Ureerat Ratanaprukse, the event not only promotes bilateral trade exchange but also provides an opportunity for businesses from the two countries to seek partnerships, expand their distribution market, and advertise their products to customers.

Sharing the same view, Chairman of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association in Da Nang, Trinh Thanh Sau said that the fair would contribute to creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese and Thai business communities to ink trade deals and boost co-operation and investment
