Launched in April, the contest received more than 620 entries, including 350 logos and 273 posters, which were presented in various materials such as crayons, watercolours, gouache, and digital paintings.

Nguyen Ngoc Huy Man from Thanh Khe district, Da Nang City won the first prize, worth 50 million VND for his logo design, while Pham Thi Loi from Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi was named the first prize winner in the poster design category.

Huy’s logo featured a modified lotus blossom, which not only represents Vietnamese traditional culture but also reminds viewers of President Ho Chi Minh, who laid the foundation for the establishment of the VGCL.

The lotus petals are stylised in the shape of the Roman number XIII, symbolising the 13th Congress of the VGCL. The badge of the VGCL is placed at the centre of the blossom, implying that the VGCL plays a central role in representing, gathering, and uniting labourers nationwide.

The organising board also awarded prizes to other outstanding entries at the ceremony.
