Work starts on Dong Nai’s first high-tech industrial park

A ground-breaking ceremony was held on July 7 to commence work on the technical infrastructure of the Long Thanh High-tech Industrial Park, the first of its kind in Dong Nai Province.

Covering 410 hectares in Long Thanh District, the industrial park is invested in by industrial developer Amata for 282 million USD and is designed to attract manufacturers with advanced technologies.

This is an investment attraction direction that Dong Nai is prioritising in recent years to ensure its goal of rapid and sustainable development.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Dong Nai Chairman Cao Tien Dung stated that the Long Thanh High-tech Industrial Park will meet the needs of the world’s major manufacturers planning to invest in Vietnam’s southern province.

With the Long Thanh Industrial Park, Dong Nai currently has 32 industrial parks, attracting investors from 43 countries and territories around the world.

The province is working with the relevant ministries and agencies to complete procedures for another eight new industrial parks under the industrial park development plan approved by the Prime Minister.
