TITF is one of Thailand’s largest annual tourism promotion events, organised by the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA) to boost the tourism industry and encourage travel within Thailand and abroad.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung highlighted the fair’s importance, noting that Vietnamese businesses’ participation greatly enhances efforts to attract Thai tourists to Vietnam and international visitors traveling through Thailand to Vietnam.

The Ambassador also affirmed Vietnam’s Embassy in Thailand’s commitment to supporting Vietnamese enterprises, particularly in aviation and tourism, to achieve success in the Thai market.

TITF’s popularity stems from its flexibility for visitors to choose from a range of travel packages, including airfare, accommodation, transportation, or combined packages, alongside traditional full tours.

Ngo Tri Hung, Vietnam Airlines’ Thailand Branch Manager, stated that TITF offers a great platform to promote Vietnam Airlines’ services. The airline currently operates seven daily flights between Bangkok and Vietnam, set to increase to nine. This expansion aims to strengthen tourism ties, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year and Thailand’s Songkran festival in April.

This year marks the 18th iteration of TITF, held on a 10,000-square-meter space with over 600 booths from Thai and international exhibitors.
