The information was revealed by the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) and the Vietnam MICE Club (VMC) at a press conference on April 11.
The expo will include various trade promotion activities in the Business Matching B2B session, which will bring together 150 sellers from hotels, cruise ships, destinations, event venues, golf courses, event equipment suppliers, gifts, land tour companies, and 1,500 buyers from 800 travel companies, event organisers, media companies, and other organisations.
The B2B session will provide a venue for sellers and buyers to meet and discuss products and services while seeking cooperation opportunities.
The highlight of the expo is a forum entitled ‘Technology and Heritage in MICE Tourism Development’, gathering 350 delegates from state management agencies, tourism development agencies, destination management units, and media, along with experts and leaders of tourism businesses.
Participants will discuss solutions to promote MICE tourism development with the national tangible and intangible heritages as the centre, with two major topics being the role of heritage in the development of MICE tourism and application of technology to enhance the value of heritage.
Various sporting events will also be held within the framework of the expo, including a pickleball competition, a golf tournament, and an online walk.
