The southeastern coastal province took the lead with a voting rate of 17%, up 3.32 percentage points - the largest increase in the percentage of votes from Vietnamese tourists.
Da Nang came second, despite a reduction of 2.07 percentage points, while Hanoi was the third most loved destination.
The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, home to the resort city of Da Lat, fell by 1.46 percentage points and swapped places with Ho Chi Minh City, which climbed to number five in the second-quarter rankings.
For outbound destinations, Thailand rose from the fourth place to number one with a 15.1 percentage point increase in votes compared to the first quarter.
The Republic of Korea fell to second position, while Japan and Singapore share third place.
China overtook the United Kingdom to enter the top five international destinations favoured by Vietnamese tourists.
In the category of domestic airlines, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines maintained their first position with a voting rate of 45%, up 1.9 percentage points from the previous three-month period.
Vietjet Air maintained its second place, while Vietravel Airlines surpassed Bamboo Airways to become the third most popular domestic carrier.
The top travel agencies are Vietravel and Saigontourist, which respectively maintained their first and second positions. The two had a combined voting rate of nearly 50%.
The third place is shared by Hanoitourist and Dat Viet Tour.
