The road, featuring two lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes for rudimentary vehicles across a width of 11 metres, runs 19.5 kilometres through An Nhon Town and the two districts of Tay Son and Van Canh in Binh Dinh Province.

With a total cost of 1,171 billion VND (46.5 million USD), the project is scheduled for completion within 24 months.

Once operational, Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP will create many jobs and produce a large number of goods, requiring adequate transport infrastructure to meet the goods circulation demand.

Therefore, the new road is highly necessary for helping to promote socio-economic development in Binh Dinh Province and the wider region.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Binh Dinh Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Thanh asked the relevant parties to address the obstacles concerning site clearance as soon as possible to facilitate the construction of the road.
