Speaking at the opening ceremony for the festival, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said Binh Dinh Province has organised numerous major cultural events since March, which have attracted millions of visitors from across the country and abroad.

The Binh Dinh Essence of Sea and Land Festival 2024 continues to be a prominent event with various activities including the Seafood Cuisine Festival at the OCOP Fair as well as craft villages, Street Festival, and Light Festival with artistic fireworks displays promising wonderful experiences for visitors to Quy Nhon this summer.

Visitors and locals will immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Binh Dinh through fascinating discoveries. The most prominent activities with unique and diverse experiences include: enjoying culinary delights made from Binh Dinh tuna prepared in European, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese styles; and the booths showcasing traditional crafts and OCOP products of Binh Dinh and neighbouring provinces.

Notably, visitors and locals can enjoy the special performance of "deboning and slicing of Binh Dinh tuna" by top chefs from Japan and appreciate the artistic programme entitled "Binh Dinh - Sea Aspiration."

Additionally, lively music performances combined with carnival shows and unique local arts, such as Bai Choi singing (a popular folklore style of singing in the central and south central regions of Vietnam), Tuong (Classical Drama) singing, Cham dance, and Ho Ba Trao singing, as well as the Street Festival and Light Festival performances are truly appealing to locals and tourists.

The festival is expected to contribute to attracting more friends from all over to the coastal land of Binh Dinh to explore, experience, relax, do business, invest together, and contribute to the development of Quy Nhon and the prosperity and sustainability of Binh Dinh, deserving of the natural blessings of land and sea bestowed by nature.
