On the afternoon of November 13, leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training met, held discussions with, and, together with representatives of relevant units, presented many meaningful and valuable gifts to the teachers.
According to Nguyen Kim Quy, Standing Vice President of the Viet Nam Youth Federation, the 80 honoured teachers this year are currently working in 248 communes, wards, and special border areas, including satellite schools, remote and mountainous schools, border areas, and localities with difficult socio-economic conditions. They also include officers and soldiers of the border guard force who eradicate illiteracy and teach young people and residents in border areas where they are stationed.
The selected teachers have made significant contributions to educating local students; created remarkable improvements in the quality and effectiveness of education; shown perseverance in overcoming hardship; and demonstrated deep dedication to the teaching profession, earning the trust and affection of local authorities, school leaders, students, parents, and the community.
Teacher Vi Thi Hang (Long Luong Primary School, Son La Province) cares for her students on the school grounds. She was one of the outstanding teachers honoured in the “Sharing with Teachers” programme in 2024.
On the occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded commendation certificates to 80 outstanding teachers for their exceptional contributions to education and to nurturing younger generations. It is noted that on the same evening, the Viet Nam Youth Federation will host a friendly gathering and present savings books (each worth 10 million VND) to the honoured teachers.
“Sharing with Teachers” is an annual programme jointly organised by the Viet Nam Youth Federation, the Ministry of Education and Training, and Thien Long Group since 2015. After more than a decade of implementation, the programme has honoured 656 outstanding teachers from across the entire country.
It is reported that the 2025 programme has the largest scale to date, recognising 201 teachers from 248 border communes following the two-tier administrative merger. Among them, 80 outstanding teachers will travel to Ha Noi to attend the “Sharing with Teachers” Commendation Ceremony 2025.
