Speaking at the launch ceremony in Ha Noi on May 16, Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong, Deputy Director of C06, stressed that national digital transformation is a major policy of the Party and the state, with Project 06 serving as a key pillar and bright spot in the process. Over recent years, the Administrative Management Police Force for Social Order has made efforts to develop and integrate the utilities of Project 06, especially the VNeID application, into daily life.
However, according to Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong, for digital transformation to truly succeed, people must remain at the centre of the process; they must understand and know how to use and benefit from digital utilities.
Therefore, the initiative by the C06’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to proactively advise and launch the campaign in connection with the “Digital Literacy for All” platform is considered a practical and timely initiative carrying profound political significance.
Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong praised the proactive and pioneering spirit of young officers from the Administrative Management Police Force for Social Order, along with the coordination of the Ha Noi’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ha Noi Public Security and youth union members from universities, notably Electric Power University and Ha Noi University of Mining and Geology.
To ensure the campaign achieves practical results, the Deputy Director of C06 requested participating officials and youth union members to become “digital ambassadors” and “digital communicators”, directly guiding citizens in using VNeID and online public services under the motto: “Listen to the people, speak so the people understand, act so the people trust.”
Regarding the six volunteer teams, Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong asked them to closely follow the objectives outlined in the plan, especially teams supporting the issuance of ID cards and electronic identification accounts for high-school students, ensuring the process is fast, accurate, and does not affect students’ studies.
At the same time, the C06 Youth Union will closely coordinate with police units, local authorities, and universities to ensure absolute safety during parades and grassroots deployment activities so that the campaign genuinely delivers practical value to the community.
Speaking at the event, Second Lieutenant Lo Minh Thuan from the Youth Union of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order affirmed that the youth of C06 will take the lead in awareness and act decisively. Each youth union member will serve as an active “digital communicator” who is ready to “go to every alley and knock on every door” to bring digital utilities closer to the people.
He also pledged to effectively implement the six key volunteer teams, coordinate with university students and grassroots police forces to provide hands-on guidance, deploy the “Digital Literacy for All” platform and offer maximum support to high-school students during the peak period for ID card issuance and electronic identification registration.
