The event forms part of a series of practical activities celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress, the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (3 February 1930 – 2026), and the New Year 2026.
The exhibition presents hundreds of Spring edition newspaper covers, alongside 96 special original documents and artefacts.
Highlights include poems and Lunar New Year greeting letters by President Ho Chi Minh published in Spring newspapers, as well as propaganda posters welcoming Party Congresses. These artefacts vividly illustrate the close companionship of Viet Nam’s revolutionary press with the Party and the nation’s revolutionary cause, from the hardships of wartime to contemporary publications.
Speaking at the opening ceremony on January 30, journalist Nguyen Duc Loi, Standing Vice President of the Viet Nam Journalists Association, stressed that each Spring edition of a newspaper is not merely a press product but also a cultural message, reflecting the people’s aspirations for development and their faith in the Party.
He affirmed that the press has consistently guided public opinion, reinforced belief, and inspired patriotism.
Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation, hailed the exhibition as an event of profound political and cultural significance, spreading national pride, confidence, and aspirations for development in the new stage following the 14th National Party Congress.
In addition to traditional display spaces, the Museum employs modern technologies such as 3D museums, holobox, magic wall, and interactive screens, enabling visitors to actively explore content, images, and press materials in an engaging and vivid manner.
