The event was attended by Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo Member and former State President; and Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

According to CT Group, the ADC chip, called the CTDA200M, is a type of electronic chip that converts analogue signals into digital signals.

This is considered the first 12-bit chip design with a sample rate of 200 MSPS in Viet Nam, designed by the Diginal team — a member of CT Group. This chip will be photolithographied by Taiwan’s TSMC Company (China) starting from July 2025.

After that, the product will be packaged and completed at the ATP semiconductor chip factory of CT Semiconductor (a member of CT Group) from November 2025 and commercialised from December 2025.

Chairman of CT Group Tran Kim Chung said that the birth of the chip design is the group’s answer for the development of core technology in Viet Nam.

Although the ADC is a difficult chip that usually takes 2 years to design, the company team has done it in a record short time of six months, in the spirit of Resolution 57.

In his speech at the launch ceremony, Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, said that the launch of CT Group’s ADC chip demonstrates the dynamism, creativity and grasp of the pioneering innovation trend of enterprises in digital transformation.

The launch of the ADC chip design, a high-tech product designed by Vietnamese engineers, marks an important step in the journey to master core technology, affirming the creativity of the Vietnamese people in the digital age.
