The forum provided a platform for government agencies, experts, scientists and businesses to engage in multidimensional discussions aimed at refining institutions, developing digital infrastructure, building digital human resources, and supporting enterprises in their digital transformation.

The event also sought to create a bridge connecting businesses, start-ups and management bodies, while promoting the potential of Viet Nam’s digital market to partners both at home and abroad.

Participants agreed that the digital economy enables Viet Nam to enhance international competitiveness, attract high-quality investment, foster a circular economy, and increase value within the global supply chain. They highlighted that the digital economy has become a key driver of rapid and sustainable growth, improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness.

Speakers stressed that the development of digital technical human resources is the decisive factor in ensuring the success of the digital economy. They emphasised that digital innovation must underpin this process, with the digital economy integrated into all industries and sectors, supported by digital governance, skills training, and the attraction of digital talent.

They suggested that Viet Nam’s digital economy should be built on three fundamental pillars: digital governance, harnessing data to generate economic value, and developing production forces linked to the digital economy.
