Specifically, the capital city was honoured in four categories: Top 25 Best Destinations in the World (4th place), Top 25 Best Cultural Destinations in the World (7th place), Top 25 Best Solo Travel Destinations in the World (7th place), and Top 25 Best Food Destinations in the World (11th place).

Being listed simultaneously in multiple categories highlights Ha Noi’s comprehensive appeal, not only in terms of landscapes but also cultural depth, vibrant experiences, and its ability to meet global travel trends.

With its ancient charm and graceful beauty, Ha Noi has long been a favourite destination for travellers from around the world, especially those keen to explore the history, culture, and people of Viet Nam. The city boasts a timeless beauty that blends historical elegance with a modern spirit, preserving its nostalgic past while embracing the dynamic development of a vibrant metropolis.

Through centuries of ups and downs and bearing many different names, the thousand-year-old capital has never forgotten its glorious history, Tripadvisor noted.

Ha Noi is home to many iconic landmarks, including the Temple of Literature – Viet Nam’s first national university, the Old Quarter, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Beyond architectural works and historical relics, the capital also features numerous ancient villages, traditional craft villages, museums, and community cultural spaces, where visitors can clearly sense its distinctive identity and rich cultural depth.

In addition to its cultural and historical values, cuisine remains one of the most outstanding factors attracting visitors to Ha Noi. The capital’s culinary scene is highly regarded for its refinement and elegance, with a focus on original flavours that highlight the value of local ingredients.

From bustling street food stalls in lively markets to creative menus in restaurants, Ha Noi’s cuisine offers visitors a complete journey of discovery, where each dish reflects not only taste but also stories of history, people, and local culture.

The Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism believed that Ha Noi's simultaneous inclusion in multiple award categories demonstrates its comprehensive appeal. This appeal lies not only in its scenery but also in its cultural depth, vibrant experiences, and ability to meet global tourism trends.
