The new products were announced at the launch ceremony of the ‘Get on Ha Noi’ programme, organised by the municipal Department of Tourism on January 30 under the theme ‘Green Tourism Journey’.
The opening ceremony featured an artistic performance celebrating the historical depth and cultural value of the capital’s tourism offerings, while promoting the message of responsible, green tourism oriented towards sustainable futures.
Speaking at the launch, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Tourism, Tran Trung Hieu, stated that Ha Noi aims to welcome more than 35.8 million visitors, generating total tourism revenue in excess of 160 trillion VND, thereby contributing to double-digit economic growth in 2026.
The theme ‘Green Tourism Journey’ embodies responsibility towards ancestral heritage, the present living environment, and future generations.
Get on Ha Noi 2026 establishes a comprehensive tourism experience ecosystem, seamlessly connecting spaces, people, culture, and creativity.
The three-day event showcases emerging tourism trends in the capital, including ecotourism, craft village tourism, cultural-heritage tourism, creative products, community tourism, and green tourism linked to social responsibility.
Visitors are also introduced to a variety of tourist activities, such as the ‘Memories of the Flag Tower’ programme, the 3D Mapping show at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the night cycling initiative, and tours of craft villages.
At the ceremony, the city’s Department of Tourism also announced three newly recognised tourist sites: the Ha Noi Botanical Garden, Thiet Ung Fine Woodcraft Village, and the Thuy Lam tourism site in Dong Anh.
