According to the capital city’s public administration service centre, it has completed configuring 2,089 administrative procedures on the public service portal to ensure they are received and processed smoothly.

In July, the city recorded 71,710 applications with fees paid online through the public service portal.

During the period, the Ha Noi Bar Association arranged over 200 lawyers to provide free legal advice for individuals and organisations at public administration service points.

At the conference, representatives of some communes and wards reported obstacles in receiving and handling administrative procedures, such as unoptimised and unintegrated software as well as inconvenient online forms.

For his part, Ha Noi Vice Chairman Truong Viet Dung emphasised that the city would continue with efforts to support departments in overcoming challenges, noting that all difficulties must be identified and addressed at the conference.

He urged wards and communes with low rates of online administrative procedures to step up their efforts and identify measures to improve their performance.

The municipal leader stated that he would work directly with localities to thoroughly resolve issues related to the software system.

Dung also requested the city’s public administration service centre to continue training civil servants who can handle administrative procedures and to roll out mobile service stations to serve vulnerable groups.
