The event took place at the open-air stage by the iconic Bia Quoc Hoc (Quoc Hoc Monument) along the Huong River, marking the first time the national pageant was hosted in the ancient capital.

Truc Linh, a student and beauty queen of the University of Finance and Marketing, stands 1.71 meters tall with measurements of 75-61-92. She succeeds Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy and received a 500 million VND (19,100 USD) cash prize and the prestigious crown.

The first runner-up title went to Tran Ngoc Chau Anh from Ha Noi, and second runner-up was Nguyen Thi Van Nhi from Hai Phong, with prizes of 300 million VND and 250 million VND respectively.

The finale featured 25 finalists and celebrated Viet Nam’s cultural richness with segments in traditional Ao dai, swimwear, evening gowns, and Q&A. The unique stage on the Huong River blended heritage and contemporary art through music and visuals.

Additional awards included titles such as Most Popular Contestant, Ambassador of Kindness, Tourism & Environment, Media & Arts, and Sports & Fashion—each with a 50 million VND prize.

Speaking at the opening, Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper and head of the organising board emphasised the contest’s mission to celebrate not only beauty but also intellect, compassion, and a spirit of contribution. “The crown represents both honour and responsibility,” he noted.

With its theme of beauty, culture, intellect, and dedication, Miss Viet Nam 2024 offered a profound cultural experience rooted in the spirit of Hue and the Vietnamese woman.
