Hanoi Light Symphony promises spectacular party of light and music

The Hanoi Light Symphony programme will be held on January 18 at the intersection of Nguyen Hoang Ton and Lac Long Quan Streets in Tay Ho District, Hanoi, featuring 2,025 drones and symphony music in the sky over West Lake.

This was announced at a ceremony held on January 15 by Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, the Hanoi People's Committee, and the Tay Ho District People's Committee.

Speaking at the event, Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, and Editor-in-Chief of the Nhan Dan Newspaper, said that the Hanoi Light Symphony marks the opening of the Hanoi International Light Festival 2025 and is expected to become an annual highlight to greet new year.

Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the Party Commission for Communication and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, stressed that the programme not only offers the public a spectacular party of light and music but also contributes to promoting Hanoi as a cultural and creative destination and fostering the capital's night economy.

Bui Thi Lan Phương, Vice Chairwoman of Tay Ho District, expressed her hope that the light concert will become an annual event during Tet (Lunar New Year) so that those working away from home in Hanoi can also enjoy it.

According to Dang Le Minh Tri, the programme's director, under the theme ‘Shine Your Vibes’, the Hanoi Light Symphony will feature an unprecedented combination of light displays from 2,025 drones and symphony music.

Each drone is programmed to create unique visuals and images that highlight Hanoi's history and cultural heritage.

The show will feature several famous artists, such as People's Artist Thanh Hoa, My Tam, Ha Le, BigDaddy, Kieu Anh, and Do Hoang Hiep.

The programme will open free for the public and will be broadcast live on Hanoi1 channel and social media platforms.
