Kids Fest to be held in Ho Chi Minh City for the first time

The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union is scheduled to hold the first Kids Fest 2023 on June 2-4, in response to International Children’s Day and Action Month for Children.

The festival entitled “Children Today – The World Tomorrow”, will include cultural exchanges, recreational activities, entertainment activities, and technology and digital experiential spaces for children.

The event will also have exhibitions of traditional Vietnamese costumes and typical dishes of regions across Vietnam, in addition to workshops for the family, book fairs, film screenings and others.

On the occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union will also present scholarships to disadvantaged children and children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event is expected to attract the participation of 5,000 children and parents.
