The 25th Viet Nam–China International Trade Fair carries the theme “Lao Cai and Yunnan – Connection and development”. This fair is held alternately each year between Lao Cai Province (Viet Nam) and Yunnan Province (China), in Lao Cai Ward and Hekou County.

This year’s fair features more than 150 participating enterprises with over 500 standard booths from Viet Nam, China and countries and territories such as Russia, Thailand, Laos, Madagascar, among others, along with an exhibition area of approximately 4,000m².

Within the framework of the fair, conferences will be held to introduce mechanisms, policies and investment attraction projects, as well as economic and trade cooperation talks between Lao Cai Province (Viet Nam) and Yunnan Province (China).

According to the Organising Committee, the quality of this year’s fair has been enhanced compared to previous years, with goods selected more carefully to ensure safety.

The fair is also an opportunity to promote and introduce the potential and advantages of provinces and cities of Viet Nam and Yunnan Province (China); thereby attracting investment projects, promoting tourism activities in Lao Cai, and facilitating trade connections and market expansion for organisations and enterprises.

The event continues to affirm and strengthen the effective role and position of Lao Cai Province as a “bridge” on the Kunming–Lao Cai–Ha Noi–Hai Phong–Quang Ninh economic corridor, making an active and effective contribution to import–export activities, scientific and technical exchange, and cultural and tourism interaction between Viet Nam and China.
