The festival aims to create an artistic playground for young piano talents across the country, while contributing to the promotion of classical music in the Central Highlands region.
According to the plan, the four-day festival will draw the participation of contestants from many provinces and cities nationwide.
Musician Truong Huu An, a member of the Viet Nam Musicians’ Association, is the person coordinating with the Organising Committee to implement professional activities of the Festival. He said that the event aims to create an artistic exchange environment for pupils and students who love the piano, while also discovering and nurturing young musical talents.
“In recent years, the piano learning movement in the Central Highlands region has seen many positive changes. Organising a nationwide festival in Dak Lak will be an opportunity for students to exchange and learn from one another, while helping classical music come closer to the local public,” musician Truong Huu An shared.
During more than two decades of working in piano training, musician Truong Huu An has trained many students who passed entrance examinations to music academies and conservatories in Viet Nam and abroad. In addition to teaching, he has also actively participated in activities contributing to the development of the music movement in the Central Highlands region.
According to the Organising Committee, the National Piano Festival 2026 is expected to attract thousands of contestants from many provinces and cities nationwide, competing in categories divided by age group and training system.
