This year’s festival featured participation from more than 124 central and local media organisations, with nearly 130 exhibition booths displaying newspapers and magazines, from mainstream publications to specialised journals, covering every aspect of life.

Many media outlets showcased multi-platform journalism products that incorporated cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, 3D modelling, holofans, virtual reality, and more.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Nguyen Duc Loi, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Journalists Association, emphasised that the National Press Festival highlighted the contributions and strong development of Viet Nam’s Revolutionary Press over the past 100 years, while also promoting press products and the creative achievements of journalists nationwide.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this year’s festival was the prominent display of digital transformation trends and technological applications in journalism.

Many organisations presented multimedia journalism products and new technology integrations such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality to engage readers in a more effective manner.

Specialist forums on topics such as artificial intelligence in journalism, digital journalism human resources, and media economics drew considerable attention.

In addition to offering journalists high-quality professional activities, the press festival also delivered to the public a series of distinctive and well-curated arts performances.

Nhan Dan Newspaper was honoured with two A prizes: one for its impressive exhibition stand, and another for an outstanding journalism product — its supplement commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
