This event paves the way for families to move in and highlights the province’s progress in addressing the urgent need for affordable housing, contributing to the government’s programme to deliver one million social housing units.
During the event, new homeowners were guided through their apartments, inspecting technical systems such as electricity, water, fire safety, and basic furnishings. They also assessed measurements to plan interior design and furnishing arrangements.
The A6-A7 project, built on a 5,900m² site, includes a 19-story building with one basement, offering 435 social housing units and commercial spaces. It accommodates 975 residents, ensuring high standards for living conditions and architectural design. The project began in June 2020 and was initially slated for completion in February 2025.
Targeted at low-income workers, public servants, and families in need, the project reflects Dong Nai’s commitment to improving residents’ quality of life. It aims to create a modern, equitable community while supporting economic productivity and social cohesion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ho Van Ha, Director of Dong Nai’s Department of Construction, congratulated the new homeowners, expressing hope that their new homes would serve as a foundation for brighter futures. He also reaffirmed the province’s dedication to expanding social housing through supportive policies and investment attraction.
Recently, Dong Nai also broke ground on phase one of the NXH2 social housing project in Phuoc Tan Ward, which will provide 1,200 homes for those displaced by the Bien Hoa–Vũng Tàu Expressway project. The province remains on track to deliver 10,000 social housing units by 2025.
