Ngoc Trinh also won Miss Bikini and Miss Asia awards.
The first runner-up was Tra Ngoc Hang from Ca Mau province and Lynna Phan took the second runner-up title.
Ngoc Trinh began working as a model when she was 16 and won the ‘Miss Photogenic’ prize at the Vietnam Super Model Competition 2005. She was also the winner of the Miss Fashion 2007 pageant and the ‘Best Evening Gown’ award at the Miss Jewelry 2007.
This is the first time Miss Vietnam International 2011 has been organised, bringing together over 200 Vietnamese and overseas Vietnamese beauties from around the world. The competition finals featured ‘Ao Dai’ (Vietnamese traditional long dress), swimsuit and evening gown performances, as well as a question and answer session.
