According to the organising committee, the play will be performed at 8:00 PM on May 21, 2025, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labour Cultural Palace in Ha Noi.

The event is expected to have the participation of over 1,000 delegates, including leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, representatives of leaders of units under the Ministry of Public Security and local police departments; representatives of agencies involved in fire prevention, fighting, and rescue under the Ministry of National Defence; representatives of central ministries, branches, and Ha Noi City; representatives of organisations and forces participating in building the All-People Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue movement; press and television agencies; and a large number of people.

The play is written by Thien An and directed by Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu. The work is inspired by a true story, vividly and emotionally reflecting the image of fire prevention, fighting, and rescue police officers – the brave individuals who rush into dangerous places, fight for life in the “sea” of fire, and bring safety to the people.

The play truthfully portrays the image of firefighters: they are not superheroes, but flesh-and-blood people who also face life’s difficulties and very ordinary concerns, but above all, they possess courage, sacrifice, and a noble ideal of service. Behind every silent battle are sweat, tears, and even blood, paid with their own lives to preserve the peace and safety for the community.
