The Vietnam Airlines flight, labelled VN1286, departed from Ho Chi Minh City and arrived at Van Don Airport at 8:55 AM, with 88 passengers on board.
Upon arrival, the passengers received a warm welcome and were presented with gifts from leaders of Van Don District and Van Don International Airport.
It is estimated that from February 10 to 17 — the first to eighth days of the first lunar month — Van Don International Airport will see 16 flights taking off and landing on the Ho Chi Minh City - Van Don route, carrying thousands of passengers.
According to a representative of Van Don International Airport, to meet the travel demands of people during Tet holiday, the airport has been closely coordinating with airlines to ensure the on-time performance of flights while improving service quality.
