The event was co-organised by the Viet Nam Digital Content Creation Alliance, the Digital Copyright Centre in collaboration with Alpha Books Joint Stock Company, under the sponsorship of the Viet Nam Digital Communications Association (VDCA).
This is the first national-level summit dedicated to digital publishing, providing an open dialogue space to connect and shape strategic directions for Viet Nam’s publishing industry amid the global digital transformation. It is expected to become an annual event, serving as a strategic convergence point for publishers, creators, and innovators in Viet Nam.
In his opening speech, Dr Nguyen Minh Hong, Chairman of the Viet Nam Digital Communications Association, affirmed that under the theme “The Future of Publishing in the Digital Age,” DPS 2025 comprehensively focused on digital publishing at the intersection of content, technology, and business.
Key discussion topics at the even focused on updates on international, regional, and domestic publishing trends, thereby helping to shape development strategies suited to Viet Nam’s context.
Participants also shared their views on the roles of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and blockchain in transforming traditional publishing models into digital publishing.
A highlight of the forum was the launch of the “Beta Garden” project - a startup competition designed to foster innovation in content and publishing. The initiative aims to support ventures applying AI and blockchain, while providing a platform for tech and publishing firms to showcase products and seek investment.
