At the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at 12:32 am on the first day of the Lunar New Year, baby boy Nguyen The Minh Khoi, the first child of Nguyen The Tuan and Nguyen Van Anh from Bac Ninh Province, was safely and healthily delivered in the labour ward.
Immediately after birth, the 3-kilogram baby was placed on his mother’s chest using the “skin-to-skin” method, so that the first warmth he felt was his mother’s loving embrace.
Sharing in the joy, Associate Professor Dr Vu Van Du, Deputy Director of the hospital, visited to offer congratulations and extend his warmest wishes to the family.
Receiving his son from the doctors, Tuan could not hide his emotion, saying: “Minh Khoi is our first child, so our family has been counting down the days in anticipation. Welcoming him at the very moment of the New Year is truly special. Our sincere thanks to the doctors for supporting my wife and child so that everything went safely.”
At the Ha Noi Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital, at exactly 12:01 am, baby boy Do Huu Minh Khoi, weighing about 3 kg, was born to his mother Do Thi Minh from Ha Noi.
The delivery proceeded smoothly, with both mother and child doing well, a joy shared not only by the family but also as a source of pride for the medical staff who worked through New Year’s Eve.
A baby born just after the turning of the New Year not only carries special meaning for the family but also stands as a beautiful symbol of life’s endless journey.
