The event took place from October 28 to November 1, 2025, as part of the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC 2025) Forum.

First launched in 2011, GITC is an annual international competition for young people with disabilities. It aims to promote digital skills, creativity, and social inclusion through information technology. This year’s competition attracted around 1,700 participants from 20 countries.

The Vietnamese team achieved outstanding results, bringing home three prizes: Le Thi Uyen Nhi won the Super Challenge Award and the Excellent e-Combination Award, while the Nghi Luc Song – GITC Viet Nam Team received the Contribution Award.

This achievement not only reflects the capability and determination of Vietnamese youth with disabilities but also highlights the image of a dynamic, creative, and resilient Viet Nam on the international stage.
