The post-storm flooding has been assessed as one of the most severe natural disasters in recent years in the Central and Central Highlands regions. Persistent heavy rains have submerged thousands of homes, disrupting electricity, water supply, and transportation. Many areas in Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak remain underwater, with some isolated for many days, leaving residents reliant on rescue forces and emergency supplies.

As floodwaters had yet to recede, trucks carrying 48 tonnes of Vinamilk’s nutritional products, including milk and bottled beverages, were delivered to the three hardest-hit provinces promptly.

For people in flood-hit regions, a box of milk or a few bottles of drinking water at this moment is not just a necessity — it is timely support that helps them to endure days of isolation. Many preschools and primary schools remain covered in mud after the floods, forcing children to stay home; receiving milk from relief supplies provides precious nutrition to help them maintain their health.

While floodwaters have yet to fully recede, and as many families are still unable to clean the mud-coated walls of their homes, the timely arrival of relief trucks offers encouragement and strength to help residents overcome the most exhausting days. Vinamilk hopes that the nutritional support delivered during this critical time will help localities stabilise soon, so that peace and normalcy can return to communities recently tested by natural disasters.
