At the event, Nguyen Lan Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Binh Thuan Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated that to develop green and sustainable tourism, the province is focusing on core tourism products that emphasise ecological responsibility. This includes integrating tourism activities with the preservation and promotion of natural resources, environmental protection, and the development of cultural tourism products linked to festivals, community life, and traditional craft villages.
In addition, Binh Thuan’s tourism sector is actively expanding a variety of offerings such as forest-waterfall-lake-island ecotourism, nature exploration, adventure tourism, agricultural ecotourism, community-based tourism with homestay experiences, wellness and health tourism. These are also combined with MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events), contributing to the growth of a green and sustainable tourism industry.
Alongside the promotion conference, a range of activities will take place at the Binh Thuan Tourism booth during the trade fair, organised by the provincial Tourism Promotion Centre. These include culinary showcases, tourism-themed gameshows, promotional programmes, video presentations of tourist destinations, lucky gifts, prize draws, and tastings of local delicacies.
Moreover, the booth will also introduce a series of large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events scheduled to take place in Binh Thuan in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the province’s liberation (April 19, 1975 –April 19, 2025).
