The collection includes 30 books, which are arranged in three major groups. The first group comprises the memoirs and memories of talented generals who directly commanded the Dien Bien Phu Campaign 70 years ago, such as Vo Nguyen Giap, Hoang Van Thai, and Le Trong Tan.
The second group includes publications that research, summarise, and analyse the sound leadership of the Party and Uncle Ho, as well as the guiding role of the General Military Commission and the Campaign Command, notably of General Vo Nguyen Giap during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
These books introduce readers to statistics, figures, events, and assessments from observers at home and abroad about the campaign and the great support of foreign countries around the globe to Vietnam during this period.
The third group of books reveals memoirs and stories of veterans who directly participated in the campaign and literary works, prose and poems on the historic campaign.
The release of the book collection aims to provide readers with a deeper, more accurate, objective, and more diverse understanding of the global-shaking Dien Bien Phu Victory.
