The fair will bring together more than 120 organisations, businesses and cooperatives from Viet Nam, Laos and China, which will showcase their distinctive products at over 200 booths.

Of the booths, Vietnamese organisations and businesses will occupy 200, while businesses from northern Lao provinces and from China will have 12 each.

The fair will also feature a dedicated exhibition area for signature products from selected communes and wards in Dien Bien Province.

The organisers have set up a separate space where organisations and businesses can livestream sales directly from the fair on digital and e-commerce platforms.

Products on display will mainly include consumer goods; handicrafts; agricultural, forestry and aquatic products; food; garments; machinery and equipment for industrial and agricultural production; office equipment; and electrical, electronic and refrigeration appliances.

The fair is part of the 2026 National Trade Promotion Programme and is a practical effort to boost trade and help businesses market their products and expand exports.

The province also hopes the fair will attract domestic and international visitors, boost tourism and the local economy, and promote the province’s culture and people.
