The forum is organised by Viet Nam Association for Business Culture Development, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, under the theme “Vietnamese Business Culture — An Important Pillar for Transforming Cultural Values into Economic Value and Contributing to National Strength”.
The event aims to mark the 10th anniversary of Vietnamese Corporate Culture Day and the campaign “Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture.”
Speaking at a press briefing held in Hung Yen on the morning of October 15, Ho Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Viet Nam Association for Business Culture Development and chairman of the forum, said this year's event marks a shift from establishing foundations of values and standards to mobilising stakeholders, developing tools, and promoting implementation.
The year 2026 marks a decade since the prime minister designated November 10 as Vietnamese Corporate Culture Day and launched the “Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture” campaign, affirming the role of culture in business development and linking business activities with responsibilities towards people, communities, and the country.
According to the organising committee, this year's programme aims to contribute to the practical implementation of Resolutions No. 68-NQ/TW, 79-NQ/TW, 80-NQ/TW, and 23-NQ/TW on private-sector development, the state economy, culture, and overseas Vietnamese affairs.
A new feature of this year’s programme is the introduction of the 2026-2035 Action Framework based on the 9-4-2 structure, plans to establish VBN GLOBAL and a strategic alliance for action, and efforts to promote the pioneering role of the community of 116 enterprises that meet Vietnamese Business Culture Standards.
VBN GLOBAL is envisioned as a network connecting domestic entrepreneurs and enterprises with overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs, businesses, and business associations.
At the November 8 programme, alongside the anniversary celebration, recognition of contributions over the past decade and introduction of the 2026-2035 Action Framework, delegates will participate in a policy dialogue on the role of business culture in building trust, reputation, and competitiveness. They will also discuss mechanisms for translating cultural values into economic value, coordination methods, and performance evaluation.
A ceremony honouring enterprises meeting Vietnamese Business Culture Standards in 2026 will also be held as part of the programme.
